STRATEGY

Blakely Made required a brand identity that bridged the gap between her roots as a local Charleston artist and her evolution into a premier coastal painter and visual artist. While her previous branding felt personal and homemade, the growth of her studio demanded a strategy that elevated her work to a sophisticated, gallery-ready level without losing the intimate connection her collectors cherish. Our goal was to create a visual identity that felt as luminous and serene as her paintings, positioning Blakely Made as a luxury art brand that celebrates the intersection of fine art and coastal living. Inspired by the soft light and natural rhythms of the South Carolina coast, the brand was built to serve as a high-end digital gallery.

RESULTS

We achieved this through a refined, airy color palette, an elegant mix of minimalist serif and hand-rendered typography, and organic, star-inspired motifs that echo the celestial themes in her work. The result is a brand that feels both prestigious and deeply personal, transitioning Blakely from a local creator to a sought-after artist whose brand identity now truly matches the caliber of her artistry.
